LIFE COACHING
A coach helps you grow by analyzing your current situation, identifying limiting beliefs and other potential challenges and obstacles you face and devising a custom plan of action designed to help you achieve specific outcomes in your life.

The relationship between a client and their coach is a creative partnership that seeks to:

  • Identify, clarify and create a vision for what the client wants
  • Use coach’s expertise to modify goals as needed
  • Encourage client’s self-discovery and growth
  • Nurture and evoke strategies and a plan of action based on what fits best with the client’s goals, personality and vision
  • Foster client accountability to increase productivity

These aspects of the process all work together to allow you to maximize your potential, and research shows that coaching and training is a far more effective combination (88%) than training alone (22.4%).

THERAPY
Therapy, also called talk therapy, is a form of treatment aimed at relieving emotional distress and mental health problems.

It involves examining and gaining insight into life choices and difficulties faced by individuals, couples, or families.

Therapy sessions refer to structured meetings between a therapist and a client with a goal of improving some aspect of their life.

Therapy encompasses many types of treatment and is practiced by a range of clinicians using a variety of strategies. The critical aspect is that the client or patient works collaboratively with the therapist and can identify improvement and positive change over time.

Most therapies in wide use have been well-tested and deemed effective. Though it may at first feel difficult to seek out therapy, the benefits of successful therapy are literally life-changing.

REIKI HEALING
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing, and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low or out of balance, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). Reiki is a type of energy healing.

Energy healing targets the energy fields around the body, which can stagnate where there has been physical injury or emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.

Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure.

Reiki has been around for thousands of years. Its current form was first developed in 1922 by a Japanese Buddhist called Mikao Usui, and our Reiki Master Teacher has his Reiki lineage tracing back to Dr Usui.

Suffering from a 'busy' mind?

MEDITATION
Meditation is a precise technique for resting the mind and attaining a state of consciousness that is totally different from the normal waking state. It is the means for fathoming all the levels of ourselves and finally experiencing the center of consciousness within. Meditation is not a part of any religion; it is a science, which means that the process of meditation follows a particular order, has definite principles, and produces results that can be verified.

In meditation, the mind is clear, relaxed, and inwardly focused. When you meditate, you are fully awake and alert, but your mind is not focused on the external world or on the events taking place around you. Meditation requires an inner state that is still and one-pointed so that the mind becomes silent. When the mind is silent and no longer distracts you, meditation deepens.

As a habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts, you can use it to increase awareness of yourself and your surroundings. Many use it as a way to reduce stress and develop concentration.
