Who we are
We are an established and experienced practice, offering Mind and Life Coaching and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as Reiki Healings and Meditation training.
Across our practice, it is not just qualification and training that we bring to our clients, but the combined experience of overcoming a lifetime of challenges including manic depression, high stress corporate pressures, nervous breakdown, family struggles, divorce, child custody battles, financial problems and bad life choices, but this is not what ultimately defines us unless we let it.
We find that actually having sat on 'the other side of the table' gives us a deeper insight into what our clients are actually experiencing, and this provides a level of trust and confidence in us that increases the benefits we can bring.
Mind & Life Coaching:
A Mind Coach focuses on teaching you how your brain works, and how to train and optimise the brain's resources for more efficient and effective decision making, both at work and at home.
A life coach encourages and counsels on a range of professional and personal issues and is typically engaged to help you with specific professional projects, personal goals and transitions.
INCLUDING CBT AND ANGER AND AGGRESSION MANAGEMENT
We often find it helpful to talk problems through with a friend or family member, but sometimes friends and family cannot help us and we need to talk to a professional therapist.
Talking therapies involve talking to someone who is trained to help you deal with your negative feelings. They can help anyone who is experiencing distress. You do not have to be told by a doctor that you have a mental health problem to be offered or benefit from a talking therapy.
A non-invasive complementary therapy that has been taught and used in the UK since the late 1900s, but Eastern medicine has, for thousands of years, worked with this energy, recognising its flow through all living things.
Reiki supports orthodox medicine or can be used alone, but is not a replacement for traditional medication or treatments. It is not based on any belief, faith or suggestion, yet, scientific research using quantum physics is starting to help us to understand how Reiki healing may work to benefit the individual.
Meditation is a mental exercise that involves relaxation, focus, and awareness. Meditation is to the mind what physical exercise is to the body.
Originally, the word “meditate” actually means to think deeply about something. However, when eastern contemplative practices were “imported” to Western culture, this is the term that was used to define them, for lack of a better word. Nowadays meditation has more the meaning of this exercise of focusing attention than to reflect deeply.

A Mind Coach, Certified as a Mental Health Facilitator, holding 'Distinction' grade certifications in Life Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Depression Counselling, Anger and Aggression Management Counselling, Criminal Psychology, and Corporate Wellness Coaching; Laurence is certified as a Wellness Coach, currently undergoing the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Counselling Skills Training (600/0727/8), and trained in Corporate Coaching and Mentoring, Behavioural Analysis, and to expert level in Non-Verbal Communication Detection and Analysis, his business education and experience as a consultant in procurement, finance, law, information technology, organisational change and executive management, combines with his life experiences and numerous culturally immersive experiences whilst working and/or living in over 14 Countries around the world, to provide what our clients consider a unique appreciation of their individual circumstances.
Laurence is also a certified and attuned Reiki Master Teacher and a certified Meditation Teacher.
